Dr. Lawrence Rosenman *Emeritus
Dr. Rosenman received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and then went to Georgetown Dental School. After graduating from Georgetown in 1980, he became the founding member of this practice.
Dr. Rosenman is a long standing member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, the Northern Virginia Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. He has completed over 500 hours of continuing education in various dental studies.
Dr. Rosenman was honored by the Washingtonian magazine numerous times as one of the area’s “100 Best Dentists”. He specializes in cosmetic and restorative dentistry.
Dr. Rosenman lives in Fairfax Station with his wife, Beverly, to whom he has been married since 1978. His hobbies include spending time with his three children, gardening, swimming, racquetball, and walking his dog.
Dr. Sara Brendmoen — Family and Cosmetic Dentist
Dr. Sara Brendmoen joined Springfield Lorton Dental Group in 2003 and became a partner of the practice in 2006. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from James Madison University and received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Louisville. Due to her academic performance while attending the University of Louisville, she was awarded the L.D. Pankey Occlusion Award and was accepted into the honorary academic fraternity, Psi Omega. She has been recognized as a top local dentist by the Washingtonian Magazine, Northern Virginia Magazine and Virginia Living Magazine.
As a practicing dentist, she is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association and the Northern Virginia Dental Society. She is also an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Brendmoen is a Preferred Provider of Invisalign® Cosmetic braces.
She is active in educating her local community, providing informative presentations at multiple early and elementary schools. She currently resides in Oak Hill with her husband, Matt and their three sons. Outside of the office, she enjoys running and cooking.
Dr. Georges Traboulsi — Periodontist and Implant Specialist
Dr. Georges Traboulsi is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He received his DDS degree from Saint Joseph University and went on to complete an Oral Surgery Fellowship there. He continued his training at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where he completed a Periodontology residency and obtained a Masters degree in Oral Biology.
In private practice Dr. Traboulsi infuses his clinical approach with the latest innovations in tissue regeneration and implant research. He performs a variety of surgical procedures including implant surgery, periodontal surgery, soft and hard tissue augmentation, and removal of impacted wisdom teeth.
Dr. Georges Traboulsi joined Springfield Lorton Dental Group in 2015 and became a partner of the practice in 2017. He is a member of the American Association of Periodontology, American Board of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, and the Northern Virginia Dental Society.
Dr. Traboulsi is a third generation dentist. When not practicing dentistry, he spends time with his wife Maeghan and his children Sophia and Roman. He also enjoys traveling, skiing, and playing tennis.
Dr. Alan Ho — Family and Cosmetic Dentist
Dr. Alan Ho grew up in the northern Virginia area where his interests in dentistry began at an early age. Dr. Ho received his college education at Virginia Tech, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He then attended the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry and completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. After dental school, Dr. Ho pursued a comprehensive general dentistry education as a General Practice resident at the Washington DC VA Medical Center and received advanced training in prosthodontics, endodontics, implants, and surgery.
Dr. Ho emphasizes comprehensive preventive care and works conscientiously with each of his patients to improve their oral health. He is always striving to learn more and takes many continuing education courses each year.
A resident of Springfield, VA, Dr. Ho enjoys spending time with friends and family. In his free time, he likes to play and watch sports, work out, try new foods, and travel. He has a strong passion for community service and has volunteered his time with the Mission of Mercy Dental Projects and local community clinics over the past several years.
Dr. Melanie DeMaria — Family and Cosmetic Dentist
Dr. Melanie DeMaria is a 1993 graduate of the University of Delaware. She went on to attend the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in New Jersey, where she also served as the vice president of her 1997 graduating class. At graduation she was immediately commissioned into the USAF as a Captain and completed an advanced training residency program with oral surgery rounds at Malcolm Grow Hospital at Andrews AFB, Walter Reed Naval Hospital, and Bolling AFB. Upon graduation, Dr. DeMaria was assigned to Aviano AB, Italy where she was awarded the Junior Dental Officer of the Year for all the Air Forces in Europe and was a finalist for the award Air Force wide. She spent 10 years active duty overseas and on both US coasts as a Major, then transitioned into private practice in Virginia and served as an adjunct professor for 3 years at NOVA Medical Campus in Springfield, VA.
Dr. DeMaria has been practicing for 25 years and is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, and the Northern Virginia Dental Society. She also is a Fellow with the Academy of General Dentistry. She is a certified preferred provider of Invisalign Orthodontics, practices sleep medicine, endodontics, restores implants and provides cosmetic and comprehensive dental care for patients of all ages. Dr. DeMaria focuses on building long-term relationships based on mutual trust while operating within the comfort zone of her patients. She currently resides in Fort Hunt, Alexandria with her two children, a bunny and an in-training dental therapy/emotional support dog.
Dr. Susan Murray — Family and Cosmetic Dentist
Dr. Susan Murray grew up in Minnesota and graduated from Boston College with a BS in Chemistry and Hispanic Studies. She received her dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2008. She then went on to complete a General Practice Residency at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and practiced in the Denver area for nearly 10 years. Dr. Murray has experience working at a not-for-profit comprehensive dental clinic as well as private practice in general dentistry and at a pediatric-orthodontic office. She enjoys treating children, adolescents, patients with complex medical histories and geriatric patients, while bringing oral health awareness to the community. She values providing quality, comprehensive care with compassion for every patient. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association and the Northern Virginia Dental Society and volunteers at the Northern Virginia Dental Clinic.
Dr. Murray recently relocated to Northern Virginia with her husband and they joyfully welcomed their first born baby girl this summer. She enjoys cooking, yoga, hiking and exploring Virginia with her family.
Dr. Ignacio Blasi Beriain — Orthodontist
Dr. Ignacio Blasi Beriain, a Board-Certified Orthodontist, is from Barcelona, Spain, where he received his dental degree from the International University of Catalonia, earning the prestigious Colgate National Award in Dental Research. Dr. Blasi later obtained his Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology while practicing as a Clinical Associate at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Blasi contributes to the orthodontics community outside of his practice as an active member of various national and international orthodontic societies including the Edward H. Angle Midwest Society of Orthodontists, the world’s most prestigious orthodontic honor society. Further, he has published peer-reviewed articles and frequently lectures on advanced and cutting-edge topics in orthodontics and is a co-author of the widely used textbook, Orthodontics: Current Principles and Techniques.
Dr. Blasi has experience treating both children and adults but believes that early treatment in young children can eliminate treatment care complexities and other problems that can arise after full growth and development. In addition to orthodontic procedures focused on creating beautiful smiles and harmonious facial aesthetics, Dr. Blasi specializes in the diagnosis and management of sleep apnea and TMD treatments.
Dr. Blasi enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He is an avid sports fan and particularly loves skiing, tennis and soccer. Dr Blasi is both fluent in Spanish and English.
