Dr. Lawrence Rosenman — Family and Cosmetic Dentist
Dr. Rosenman received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and then went to Georgetown Dental School. After graduating from Georgetown in 1980, he became the founding member of this practice.
Dr. Rosenman is a long standing member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, the Northern Virginia Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. He has completed over 500 hours of continuing education in various dental studies.
Dr. Rosenman lives in Fairfax Station with his wife, Beverly, to whom he has been married since 1978. His hobbies include spending time with his three children, gardening, swimming, racquetball, and walking his dog.
Dr. Sara Brendmoen — Family and Cosmetic Dentist
Dr. Sara Brendmoen joined Springfield Lorton Dental Group in 2003 and became a partner of the practice in 2006. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from James Madison University and received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Louisville. Due to her academic performance while attending the University of Louisville, she was awarded the L.D. Pankey Occlusion Award and was accepted into the honorary academic fraternity, Psi Omega. She has been recognized as a top local dentist by the Washingtonian Magazine, Northern Virginia Magazine and Virginia Living Magazine.
As a practicing dentist, she is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association and the Northern Virginia Dental Society. She is also an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry.
She is active in educating her local community, providing informative presentations at multiple early and elementary schools. She currently resides in Oak Hill with her husband, Matt and their three sons. Outside of the office, she enjoys running and cooking.
Dr. Georges Traboulsi — Periodontist and Implant Specialist
Dr. Georges Traboulsi is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He received his DDS degree from Saint Joseph University and went on to complete an Oral Surgery Fellowship there. He continued his training at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where he completed a Periodontology residency and obtained a Masters degree in Oral Biology.
In private practice Dr. Traboulsi infuses his clinical approach with the latest innovations in tissue regeneration and implant research. He performs a variety of surgical procedures including implant surgery, periodontal surgery, soft and hard tissue augmentation, and removal of impacted wisdom teeth.
Dr. Georges Traboulsi joined Springfield Lorton Dental Group in 2015 and became a partner of the practice in 2017. He is a member of the American Association of Periodontology, American Board of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, and the Northern Virginia Dental Society.
Dr. Traboulsi is a third generation dentist. When not practicing dentistry, he spends time with his wife Maeghan and his children Sophia and Roman. He also enjoys traveling, skiing, and playing tennis.
Dr. Alan Ho — Family and Cosmetic Dentist
Dr. Alan Ho grew up in the northern Virginia area where his interests in dentistry began at an early age. Dr. Ho received his college education at Virginia Tech, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He then attended the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry and completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. After dental school, Dr. Ho pursued a comprehensive general dentistry education as a General Practice resident at the Washington DC VA Medical Center and received advanced training in prosthodontics, endodontics, implants, and surgery.
Dr. Ho emphasizes comprehensive preventive care and works conscientiously with each of his patients to improve their oral health. He is always striving to learn more and takes many continuing education courses each year.
A resident of Springfield, VA, Dr. Ho enjoys spending time with friends and family. In his free time, he likes to play and watch sports, work out, try new foods, and travel. He has a strong passion for community service and has volunteered his time with the Mission of Mercy Dental Projects and local community clinics over the past several years.
Dr. Christine Kim — Orthodontist
Dr. Christine Kim was born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia. She received her undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia and then graduated Magna Cum Laude at VCU’s School of Dentistry. From there, she went to the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine’s Orthodontic Residency Program where she received a Masters in the Science of Dentistry.
Dr. Kim is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Association of Orthodontists, the Virginia Association of Orthodontists, the Korean American Dental Association of the Greater Washington Area, the Northern Virginia Orthodontic Study Club, and the Academy for Sports Dentistry.
When she is not in the office, you can find Dr. Kim with her family and friends. She also loves being outdoors. Dr. Kim has been a competitive tennis player for many years and currently teaches tennis to young people in her spare time.
Dr. Melanie DeMaria — Family and Cosmetic Dentist
Dr. Melanie DeMaria is a 1993 graduate of the University of Delaware. She went on to attend the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in New Jersey, where she also served as the vice president of her 1997 graduating class. At graduation she was immediately commissioned into the USAF as a Captain and completed an advanced training residency program with oral surgery rounds at Malcolm Grow Hospital at Andrews AFB, Walter Reed Naval Hospital, and Bolling AFB. Upon graduation, Dr. DeMaria was assigned to Aviano AB, Italy where she was awarded the Junior Dental Officer of the Year for all the Air Forces in Europe and was a finalist for the award Air Force wide. She spent 10 years active duty overseas and on both US coasts as a Major, then transitioned into private practice and served as an adjunct professor for 3 years at NOVA Medical Campus in Springfield, VA.
Dr. DeMaria has been practicing in the DC area for 12 years and is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, and the Northern Virginia Dental Society. She also is a Fellow with the Academy of General Dentistry. She is a certified preferred provider of Invisalign Orthodontics, practices sleep medicine, endodontics, restores implants and provides cosmetic and comprehensive dental care for patients of all ages. Dr. DeMaria focuses on building long-term relationships based on mutual trust while operating within the comfort zone of her patients. She currently resides in Fort Hunt, Alexandria with her two children, two bunnies and an in-training dental therapy/emotional support dog.
Dr. Ashraf A. Eid — Endodontist
Dr. Eid has established himself as a clinician, researcher and educator for over 15 years and across three continents. He received his dental degree with honors and a master of science degree from Alexandria University School of Dentistry in Egypt. He then spent the next 4 years in private practice while maintaining a part-time teaching position at Pharos University School of Dentistry in Alexandria, Egypt.
In 2011, he moved to Nagasaki, Japan to start his PhD in biomaterials science where he worked on developing and testing innovative root canal filling materials with bioactive properties while at the same time teaching predoctoral students in the Department of Biomaterials Science. During his PhD tenure, he accepted a Doctoral Research Fellowship at the Department of Endodontics, Georgia Regents University, Augusta, Georgia, where he worked with world-renowned researchers on developing a novel bioceramic root canal sealer (NeoMTA™ Root Canal Sealer), as well as an expandable root canal obturation system (CPoint® Obturation Points).
After receiving his PhD, he successfully completed a three-year Advanced Specialty Education program in Endodontics at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, the world’s first dental college.
Dr. Eid has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and has presented his research in various national and international venues. He is the recipient of the AAE/Dentsply Resident Award at the American Association of Endodontists meetings in 2015 and 2016 and is on the Scientific Advisory Board of the Journal of Endodontics, the official journal of the American Association of Endodontics.
In his free time, Dr. Eid enjoys the outdoors, the mountains, and anything nature. He is an avid runner and a terrible cook.
